Start and finish

The NN Egmond Half Marathon starts and finishes in Egmond aan Zee. All distances start on Boulevard North, which is approximately one kilometre from the Sporthal De Watertoren sports centre. The start pens are signposted from the sports centre.

Start pens

The start pens are colour coded to match the colour on your race bib. The start pens for the recreational categories are allocated on the basis of the specified target time. Please note! Runners are not permitted to join an earlier group. However, it is possible to join a later group.

Changing and showering facilities

Participants can change clothes in De Watertoren sports hall. There will be limited opportunity to shower in the sports hall locker rooms. Business and charity teams will have their own heated business tent next to Sporthal de Watertoren.

Bag drop

You can hand in or leave your bag at:

1. The monitored bag drop tents in front of the Sporthal De Watertoren sports centre.

When you hand in your bag at the Sporthal De Watertoren sports centre, the bag drop team will put a sticker with a number on your race bib and a matching sticker on your bag. To collect your bag, simply present the sticker on your bib after the race.

Finish

The quarter marathon finish line is on the Zeeweg, opposite the main entrance to Hotel Zuiderduin. The half marathon finish line is on Boulevard North.
